vir gandhi
Director
Mr. Vir Gandhi, representing the second generation of the family, pursued his Master’s degree in Science from Australia. During his time there, he gained invaluable operational experience working with global franchise brands such as McDonald’s — an opportunity that gave him deep insights into managing large-scale systems and processes.
With a keen interest in combining culinary artistry with precision and efficiency, Vir explored factories and food labs to develop scalable production lines focused on perfection and repeatability. Upon returning to India, he joined the family business, introducing structured systems and process optimizations designed to streamline operations and enable sustainable expansion.
Beena Gandhi
Culinary Innovation Head
Mrs. Beena Gandhi is the driving force behind Dakshinayan’s culinary identity. Rooted in the flavours of her Coimbatore upbringing, she transformed a small home-based idli–dosa batter initiative into one of the most loved South Indian cuisine brands in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
For over 20 years, she has developed and perfected every recipe used across Dakshinayan. Her signature masalas—refined through years of dedication—are the core of the unmistakable “Dakshinayan taste” and now form the foundation of the newly launched Dakshinayan Masalas.
Expanding her vision further, she leads the development of Dakshinayan’s ready-to-eat vertical, personally overseeing every product to ensure it reflects the same authenticity, honesty, and traditional flavour that define her cooking.
Hemul Gandhi
Promoter
Mr. Hemul Gandhi began his career in the manufacturing sector and later explored opportunities in distribution. However, he soon realized that his true passion lay in the world of refined taste and culinary excellence. What started as a humble home-delivery kitchen has today blossomed into a name synonymous with authentic South Indian cuisine in both Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to perfection, Mr. Gandhi has created a distinct mark in the culinary landscape. With plans to expand the chain further, his ultimate goal is to bring the rich flavors of his kitchen to a wider audience — delighting and satisfying palates across the country.
Dhruman Gandhi
Promoter
Mr. Dhruman Gandhi is a seasoned serial entrepreneur whose journey began out of a need to create financial independence and soon evolved into a passion for building scalable businesses. He founded and grew multiple manufacturing units in the rigid packaging space, which went on to achieve significant scale before being acquired by Advent.
Following this success, he ventured into the security industry, where his enterprise attracted backing from a credible global private equity firm. Over time, Mr. Gandhi transitioned from active operations to becoming a serial investor, focusing on fundamentally strong and sustainable ventures across diverse sectors.
His entrepreneurial spirit, strategic foresight, and commitment to long-term value creation continue to define his journey as both a business leader and investor.
